Givery aims to provide the missing link that our clients need to scout, hire, and train world-class engineers. We are profitable, privately owned and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Our clients include some of the biggest names in the Japanese tech and gaming industry. We have a diverse team from all corners of the world and we are looking for a skilled designer to help us expand track, a platform that helps companies evaluate and train software engineering skills.

◆ Our vision and the people we’re looking for
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Web UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating visually appealing and user-friendly web designs that effectively communicate our brand identity and business goals. As a Senior Web UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing exceptional user interfaces for websites and web applications, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

◆ Start Date
April 2026 (earliest possible)

◆ Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other designers to conceptualize and create visually appealing, user-centered web designs.
Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistent and cohesive design across all projects.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to inform and refine design decisions.
Work closely with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of design specifications and to address any design-related issues.
Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers, helping them grow and develop their skills.

◆ Tools & Equipment
Mac or Windows - you can pick your machine and we'll have it ready for you on your first day.

◆ Precautions
- If you reside abroad and are hired, you will need to relocate to Japan.
- You need either a diploma or more than 10 years of engineering experience are required to get a visa.
- In addition to visa support, one-way airfare will be provided.

✓ Must have - A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on web design. - A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional web design projects and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles. - - Experience with software engineering is a big plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. - A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web design and user experience. ✓ Nice-to-have Business level English and Japanese language proficiency ✓ Language English: Business level Japanese: Not Required (But a real bonus!) ✓ Ideal Candidate Profile This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about great design, enjoys growing people and teams, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

◎Flexible Working Hours System
Core time: 13:00 – 16:00
(Start) 8:00 – 13:00
(End) 16:00 – 22:00
Minimum working hours: 6 hours/day
Break time: 1 hour/day
Full remote work available from within Japan.

■ Vacations
 ‐ Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday)
 ‐ Japanese national holidays
 ‐ Paid holiday: 11–20 days per year, depending on years of service
