Until now, development in the ENS business has been driven by teams centered in North America and Europe. However, to deliver value to users with a greater sense of speed and to grow, we aim to expand our development organization in Japan.
We are seeking a backend engineer who can engage in development across all products in the global ENS business, from designing and developing new product features utilizing AI to resolving technical debt and developing new products.

【Job Overview】
In the backend development of products for the global ENS business, you will be involved in a series of phases including planning, design, development, and operation.
You will engage in a wide range of duties, from designing and developing new product features utilizing AI to resolving technical debt and developing new products.

【Key Responsibilities】
・Collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams (including CTOs, Team Leads, PdMs, and BizDev) across Japan, the US, and Europe to drive global ENS product strategy.
・Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient backend systems and APIs to support core matching, search, and next-generation AI-driven features.
・Collaborating on the integration and deployment of autonomous AI agents and LLM orchestration, ensuring optimal backend architecture and system latency.
・Promoting a full-cycle development culture by taking ownership of the entire lifecycle, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and production operations/maintenance.
・Refactoring legacy code, optimizing database performance, and actively resolving technical debt to ensure long-term system maintainability and scalability.

【Expected Role for this Position】
Launching a development team in Japan in 2025, we currently develop each product in a full-stack manner while collaborating with overseas locations.
As we require an optimal development structure and technology stack according to product characteristics, we expect you to leverage your past knowledge to lead backend development as an immediate asset.

Required Skills and Experiences
