[Job Overview]
Responsible for developing automation and labor-saving solutions using AI and machine learning to further evolve cutting-edge SMT (Surface Mount Technology) lines. This position offers the opportunity to directly shape technologies that define the future of manufacturing sites.

[Key Responsibilities]
Development of the following services and systems utilizing vast amounts of data obtained from equipment and production lines:
・ Predictive maintenance systems for optimizing equipment maintenance and predicting failures
・ Image analysis AI for anomaly detection systems using in-device cameras
・ Behavioral analysis solutions to analyze and evaluate worker operations for efficiency improvements
・ Data utilization platforms for building complex analysis and decision-making support systems utilizing big data

[Working environment]
・Working at the head office in Aichi Prefecture.
・There are many foreign nationals among our employees and temporary staff, and depending on the project, more than half of the team members are foreign nationals.

[Workplace Language]
・Main language for business operations: Japanese (Internal meetings and announcements are, in principle, all conducted in Japanese)
・English usage environment: There are multiple employees who can speak English, and English is partially used when foreign employees speak with each other

Required Skills and Experiences

■Mandatory Requirements ・Experience implementing AI/ML models using Python or similar languages ・Experience utilizing machine learning libraries (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) ・Experience in model design, evaluation, and optimization ■Preferred Requirements ・Knowledge of MLOps (such as MLflow, Docker, CI/CD, etc.) ・Ability to read research papers and stay up to date with the latest technologies ・Experience in team-based development or project management ■Desired Candidate Profile ・Able to take on new challenges ・Individuals who enjoy collaborating and developing in a team environment

Working Condition

■Employment Type
Full-time employee
Trial period: 6 months (3% reduction in base salary during the trial period)

■Work location
Head office (Chiryu City, Aichi Prefecture)
※Remote work may be available a few times a week depending on the situation; however, this is not a full-remote position.

■Assumed Annual Salary
・We will determine the salary based on the current annual salary and your past experience/skills.
・Salary increase once a year (April)
・Bonus: Twice a year (July/December)

■Working Hours
・Flexible working hours
・Core time: 10:30-15:00
・Flexible hours: 7:15-10:30, 15:00-22:00
・Standard work hours: 8:30-17:00 (8:45-17:15 at Tokyo and Osaka branches)
・Monthly average of overtime: 30 hours or less
