【Responsibilities】
The Data Engineer is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating a system and infrastructure that enables the maintenance and utilization of internal data for business purposes. In addition, you will be expected to not only build a pipeline for data collection, but also lead the promotion of data utilization in order to utilize the company's data.

Examples of work are shown below. Actual duties are not limited to these. Your work after you join the company will be determined based on your skills, expertise, experience, and other factors.

Build data processing pipelines in collaboration with algorithm designers
Analyze data and propose and drive business improvement hypotheses
Design, build, and implement batch and streaming data processing infrastructure
Design and construction of data infrastructure
Design and operation of master data that can be used as a common infrastructure for multiple products that are constantly changing

In terms of development, there are many themes we would like to tackle, such as enhancing the functionality of the data platform, developing multiple new applications that run on the platform, and strengthening the infrastructure to withstand the dramatically increasing number of users and volume of data.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required 3+ years of experience in business development related to MLOps, SRE, Data Engineering Experience developing and operating data pipelines using public cloud services such as Google Cloud and AWS Experience proposing and leading data-driven projects and the data analysis required for those projects Experience in team development and operations using Git, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, etc. Basic knowledge of algorithms related to data analysis and computer science Experience in data analysis using BigQuery Fluent business communication skills in Japanese Ability to complete daily tasks in Japanese, including text communication and meetings ■Preferred General knowledge of computer networks Experience in operating container-related technologies such as Kubernetes Hands-on experience with IaC (terraform, puppet, ansible, etc.) Experience with data pipeline technologies such as Airflow, Apache Beam, Spark, etc. Experience monitoring data pipelines with modern solutions such as Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, etc. Experience with Elasticsearch in a production environment Experience developing or analyzing applications using Rust, Python, or Go Experience building and operating Data Lakes, Feature Stores, etc. Experience developing for load and scalability in large scale services Experience in planning and promoting internal and external data utilization measures using Redash, etc. Experience in planning and promoting master data management Business level English proficiency ■Ideal Applicants Empathy with the company's mission and values Able to face essential issues and take actions to solve them with a sense of ownership Able to work with a positive attitude and engage in constructive discussions in a rapidly changing and uncertain environment Able to communicate and discuss with an attitude of respect for others, taking into consideration their context and resolution
