Global ENS (Expert Network Service) Division: Providing high-precision knowledge matching across regional and language barriers for professional clients, including consulting firms and financial institutions.

【Recruitment Background】
We are currently developing autonomous AI agents primarily at our US hub. To further accelerate global expansion, "adaptation to Japanese" has become an urgent priority. Specifically, technical challenges are accumulating, such as preprocessing Japanese-specific text variations, improving NLP (Natural Language Processing) accuracy, and resolving data structure differences between Japan and overseas. Therefore, we are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to lead the accuracy evaluation and development of Japanese LLMs/NLPs at our Japan hub. The ideal candidate will spearhead the design and implementation of autonomous AI agents leveraging predictive and generative models, driving the growth of this global product from both engineering and architecture design perspectives.

【Job Description】
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of autonomous AI agents utilizing predictive and generative models while collaborating closely with English-speaking engineering teams based in overseas hubs such as the US and Europe.
*As this involves cross-border development between Japan, the US, and Europe, online meetings will occur 2–3 times a week during early morning or late evening hours.

・Global Collaborative Product Development: Developing and implementing AI agent features in cooperation with engineers at overseas hubs.
・Multi-Provider Utilization: Selecting LLMs and designing/validating models and AI agents across multiple providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) to ensure cost optimization and system resilience.
・MLOps Promotion: Establishing CI/CD pipelines, model training, monitoring, and version control mechanisms based on best practices.
・Infrastructure Optimization: Optimizing inference performance and scalability of machine learning models.
・LLM Enhancement: Fine-tuning LLMs for domain specialization and designing/implementing training processes.
・Technical Research: Staying current with the latest trends in machine learning, MLOps, and LLMs, researching new technologies and methodologies, and proposing product implementations.

【Product Integration Examples】
・Utilizing generative AI technology to automate research operations, drastically improving matching accuracy with the experts clients seek.
・Implementing automatic generation of confirmation messages to experts and recommendation texts for clients, simultaneously reducing client workload and increasing appeal to experts.
・Verifying a timeline display system optimized for individual interests using RAG to maximize the utilization of diverse career data.

【Expected Role for this Position】
Approximately half of our proprietary data consists of Japanese text data. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you are expected to collaborate with overseas hubs to lead the design and implementation of autonomous AI agents, including natural language processing and accuracy evaluation in Japanese.

Required Skills and Experiences

[Mandatory Requirements] ● 3+ years of production experience in ML and backend development, with the ability to independently navigate large Python codebases ● Core technical competency and practical experience in at least one of the following areas: ・LLM orchestration (Structured Outputs, tool use, agent workflows, etc.) ・Tabular ML pipelines (feature engineering, ranking models/LTR, model validation, etc.) ・Modern DevOps/MLOps environments (Docker, pytest/mocking, CI/CD pipelines, etc.) 　‐Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent knowledge/experience 　‐Business-level English proficiency (conversation, reading, and writing) for daily collaboration with US and European engineering teams [Preferred Requirements] ● Experience deploying and scaling services in public cloud infrastructure environments ● Track record of iteratively scaling products through cross-functional collaboration with non-engineering members ● Business-level or conversational Japanese proficiency to interface seamlessly with local business and product teams [Desired Candidate Profile] ● Passion for Product Growth: Alignment with the mission, commitment to scaling products with social impact, and the ability to approach technical debt as an engaging problem to solve ● Technical Curiosity and Commitment to Quality: Dedication to keeping pace with technological trends while maintaining maintainable architecture and high-quality code design ● Global Team Collaboration: Proactive output across cross-functional boundaries, with the communication skills in English and Japanese necessary to engage in open discussions and maximize team impact
