Required Skills and Experiences
[Mandatory Requirements]
● 3+ years of production experience in ML and backend development, with the ability to independently navigate large Python codebases
● Core technical competency and practical experience in at least one of the following areas:
・LLM orchestration (Structured Outputs, tool use, agent workflows, etc.)
・Tabular ML pipelines (feature engineering, ranking models/LTR, model validation, etc.)
・Modern DevOps/MLOps environments (Docker, pytest/mocking, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
‐Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent knowledge/experience
‐Business-level English proficiency (conversation, reading, and writing) for daily collaboration with US and European engineering teams
[Preferred Requirements]
● Experience deploying and scaling services in public cloud infrastructure environments
● Track record of iteratively scaling products through cross-functional collaboration with non-engineering members
● Business-level or conversational Japanese proficiency to interface seamlessly with local business and product teams
