Job Description

You will be responsible for UX research and UX design for our in-house products.
Your mission is to break down the product vision into a form that various stakeholders can understand, while taking into account a broad range of perspectives—including business, operations, and development—and to define what the product should look like several years from now, thereby building the product’s value.

Additionally, organizing the UI/UX design team, establishing design policies, and building a design system are key tasks for future product growth, and you will be expected to work on these in collaboration with other designers.

The following are examples of specific duties, though your responsibilities are not limited to these.

Conducting various qualitative and quantitative research (user surveys, log analysis, inquiry analysis, etc.)
Creating user journey maps, personas, wireframes, and prototypes

Required Skills and Experiences

■ Required Qualifications Experience leading the full UX design process (user research, prototyping, user testing, etc.) and delivering results Experience using one of the major design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) Fluency in business-level Japanese communication Ability to handle daily work entirely in Japanese, including text-based communication and meetings Examples: Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 level or equivalent; approximately 3 years of work experience in a Japanese-language environment, etc. *Please submit your portfolio when applying. ■ Preferred Qualifications Experience in UI design for web services, particularly B2B products Experience working in a Scrum team Experience working at a venture or startup company Experience working in a multicultural, multilingual environment Business-level English proficiency ■ Ideal Candidate Profile Someone who resonates with the company’s mission Someone who can tackle fundamental challenges, take ownership, and visualize ideas and take action to resolve them Someone who can carry out their duties with a positive attitude and through constructive discussions, even in fast-paced and highly uncertain situations Someone who can communicate and engage in discussions with respect for others, while being mindful of their context and level of understanding
