Job Description

■Job Description
The mission of this position is to raise the development/technical capabilities of the overseas subsidiary (RAKUS Vietnam), and we are entrusted with training the local development team, improving the development process, etc.
RAKUS Vietnam is one of the development bases of RAKUS Corporation, and since its establishment in 2014, it has been developing functions for RAKUS' main cloud services such as Rakuraku Seikatsu, Mail Dealer, and Shui-Dan-i Mail. RAKUS Vietnam is not positioned as a contracted development organization of the head office, but is engaged in proactive product development in unison with the head office and the development team.
We have a very good relationship with the head office development organization, and we have a full support system.

▼Flow after joining RAKUS
Assignment: You will join RAKUS and be transferred to RAKUS Vietnam.
During the first 6 months to 1 year after joining the company, you will work at the head office in Japan (mainly through development work) to gain a solid understanding of RAKUS' vision, mission, values, RAKUS' development process, service system configuration, architecture, etc.
*During this period, there will be a short-term business trip to Vietnam once every two months (1-2 weeks in duration).

After that, you will be transferred to Vietnam to work as a local Tech Lead.
*Housing in Vietnam will be company housing.

Code review
Engineer training (development plan creation, OJT trainer)
Development process improvement (introduction and improvement of Agile practices)
Technology and tool selection
You will join a local development project team and lead local engineers from within the team as a coach and sometimes as a player.

■About raising the level of technical capabilities
RAKUS Vietnam's current technical capabilities are 80% to 85% of those in Japan. We aim to raise this to 100% and bring it to the same level as Japan. In order to achieve this goal, we believe it is necessary to 1) raise the level of overall technical capabilities, 2) improve the development process, and 3) improve the capabilities of upstream processes (design capabilities). Specifically, we will strengthen the following areas.

1.  Raise the level of overall technical capabilities
(architectural design, database design, performance tuning, collection of technical information, etc.)

2. Improvement of development process
Improvement of efficiency in each development phase, introduction of Agile practices, document creation rules, selection of tools, etc.

3. Improvement of upstream process
User understanding, business understanding, understanding of application specifications and functional details, etc.
