This team fully supports internal and external data utilization and DX projects from the IT side.
Although there are still many areas where we rely on partner vendors in terms of technical capabilities and workload, we are looking for a data engineer to accelerate our in-house production,

[Job description]
 Design and operation of company-wide data infrastructure (AWS, Snowflake)
 Design and operation of data pipeline to collect data from internal and external systems.
 Design and operation of WebAPI infrastructure to provide data to other systems and applications
 Design and operation of machine learning infrastructure to implement data science in business
 Design and operation for systemization of various DX projects
 Verify new technologies, conduct POC, and determine whether or not they can be adopted.
The above tasks will be performed in collaboration with vendors or by in-house members.

Database: Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle/Exadata, PostgreSQL
Machine learning: AWS SageMaker, Databricks
Data integration/orchestration: S3, HALFT, JP1, Kinesis, Airflow
Back-end development: SpringFramework, API Gateway, Lambda
Development languages: Python, Java, etc.

SV business reform: Tablets, remote work, data utilization
Supply chain reform: Visualization and optimization (delivery simulators, etc.)
Store operation reform・・・Introduction of tablets, AI assistants, communication reform with SVs (remote work)
AI ordering・・・・Demand forecasting, inventory control

The department is a small team of elite members, so as we shift to in-house production, you will be able to make the most of your technical skills and experience in project management.

Required Skills and Experiences

Required (MUST) At least 5 years of experience in system development and operation At least 3 years of experience in database/data engineering Understanding of system architecture and performance engineering skills Develop applications in multiple programming languages * Any language is acceptable Able to work on own hands-on production as well as vendor management. WELCOME (WANT) Experience in full stack development from front-end to back-end English language skills (able to read and understand technical information in English) The right person for the job A person who likes to move things forward by working on his/her own.
