［Appbrew Inc. is a team that develops new internet services with a focus on "creating what users want with reproducibility" by making decisions based on hypothesis testing.]
Our main product, "LIPS", is the largest word-of-mouth beauty application in Japan, but in order to satisfy more users in the future, we need to balance offensive development for various KPIs such as retention, UUs, search inflows, and sales, and defensive development for liabilities by speed-oriented development. [Job Description]
- Back-end development using Ruby
- Consistent development including policy planning, specification formulation, implementation, and effectiveness verification
- Development in cooperation with designers and application engineers
- Verification [analysis using BI/SQL] and subsequent planning
- Development environment maintenance and performance improvement
Although apps are the main focus, there are various other parts such as web-front and machine learning infrastructure.
There are also techie themes such as machine learning (realtime and fine-grained recommendation, automation of feature extraction using embedding technology, ad serving applying multi-arm bandit technology, etc.), analysis tools for manufacturers, and natural language processing.

We will take ownership of planning, implementation, verification (analysis using BI/SQL), and subsequent planning.
The organization consists of 4-5 people + 1 task manager/team in each business, totaling about 20 people (average age is about 30 years old).
The organization does not have a specific PM, but rather, all members are PMs, and engineers are in charge of everything from proposing measures to measuring their effectiveness, and are responsible for growth. This is an environment where you can have a wide range of discretion and commit to the growth of the business, rather than just performing tasks within a predetermined scope.
