Job Description

This division is responsible for providing technical proposals and development support for startups and cross-group projects that are the most recent focus of the company's group business areas, and realizing business success through the power of technology.

Main Business Domains
・Internet infrastructure business (domain, cloud, settlement, EC)
・Internet advertising and media business (SSP, DSP)
・Internet financial business (securities, banking)
・Virtual currency business (exchange, mining)

Its main mission is to contribute to the development and success of its customers by researching and developing the latest technologies and introducing them to their businesses as quickly as possible.

■Responsibilities
The company is looking for a Bridge Engineer to connect the development teams in Vietnam and Japan to work on web application development.

【Project Development】
The development team consists of a hybrid team in Japan and Vietnam, and you will be in charge of the work as a bridge engineer on the Japanese side standing in between the two teams. You will be in charge of your own development, while communicating system specifications to the Vietnamese team, reviewing code, and leading acceptance testing. (Japanese is the main language in the team).
In addition to bridge work, you will also have the opportunity to be in charge of all processes of web application development. Specifically, you will be expected to play an active role in all parts that lead to the success of the service, including defining requirements, formulating system specifications, selecting frameworks and libraries, and setting up infrastructure.

The project will be one of the company's groups listed below.

◆Large-scale system development
You will develop systems that require scalability and low latency for a service that handles the largest number of users and traffic volume in the company's group.
Group-wide Login ID Platform API
You will be responsible for the development of the platform infrastructure that links multiple services of the company group, including API program development and the stabilization of container technology and cloud infrastructure such as Kubernetes.

◆Service Development for Startup Businesses
You will be responsible for speedy development to support the growth of new businesses that are launched every year by the company's group. The scope of responsibilities will include overall development of front-end, API, management screens, smartphone apps, and infrastructure settings such as AWS and GCP.
Freelancer Invoice Buying Service
This is a fintech service that guarantees financial transactions for freelancers when they do business with companies. The service has a high repeat rate and will be handled with the aim of developing new features to make it available to more people.
Content sales and transaction service using NFT
You will develop digital content sales and transaction services using blockchain NFT. You will be required to catch up with the ever-evolving technological domain and have the knowledge to identify the most appropriate methods.

◆Data Analysis and Machine Learning Projects
There are projects in which you will be responsible for data analysis and AI development together with the data scientist on the Vietnamese side. The person in charge of this project is required to have sufficient work experience as a data scientist.

In addition to the above, new projects are launched on an irregular basis and assignments are considered according to aptitude, so there are many opportunities available. Since the business areas are diverse and the technologies and processes used are also varied, you will be able to experience many projects and developments depending on your own motivation.

【Operational support for the Vietnamese team】
There are currently several Vietnamese engineers on the Japanese side, and they will work together to support the project work and the management of the Vietnamese team. The work includes technical guidance, quarterly evaluations, and Japanese communication support. There is a possibility that you will accompany us on business trips to Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang) several times a year. (Currently on hold due to Corona disaster).

【R&D Work】
They are improving our practical technical skills by allocating 10%+α of the work to researching and verifying new technologies. Research themes focus on AI, Blockchain, AWS/GCP, and other new technology areas that are expected to be further applied to business in the future, or trending technologies that should be kept in mind in the Internet service business.
・Each quarter, members will research and explore technologies that are relevant to their individual business applications, and publish the results in an engineer's blog.
・Members appointed each quarter focus on research and development and present their findings at the end of the quarter.

As a department under the direct control of the group CTO, the selection and architecture of technologies are left to the site, allowing the company to verify and introduce cutting-edge technologies on its own.
