■Department Mission & Overview
The company's comprehensive online payment service is one of the largest payment platforms in Japan, processing over 15 trillion yen in payments annually.
Security measures and maintenance of the applications and infrastructure that support the service infrastructure are extremely important for providing safe and secure services. They are also responsible for a wide range of tasks from application and platform security diagnostics, implementation and maintenance of security countermeasure products such as WAF, to development and operation of SIEM infrastructure.

■Job Overview
You will be responsible for system security in payment services, one of the largest payment infrastructures in Japan.

■Responsibilities
The company's payment services consist of in-house developed applications on a hybrid infrastructure of on-premise and public cloud. Through the work of security engineers involved in this service, you will gain knowledge/experience in a wide range of IT infrastructure and acquire engineering skills through work on systems that actually operate on the Internet.

・Development and management of log monitoring infrastructure (SIEM), monitoring of log analysis results, detailed investigation of detected events, planning and promotion of countermeasures
・Security diagnosis and penetration testing of applications/networks/OS
・Selection, PoC, design and implementation of security products and services such as WAF, WAAP, ASM, CSPM, CWPP, XDR, etc.

■Team Structure
A team of six members is responsible for developing SIEM infrastructure functions, tuning analysis logic, and studying and evaluating the introduction of security countermeasure products, in addition to regular work such as diagnostics and log monitoring.
The team belongs to the systems department and communicates actively (online and offline) with infrastructure engineers and application engineers through various means. Members of the team consist of “engineers who are interested in security work and have acquired expertise in security” based on their experience in application and infrastructure development.
