Job Description

Through the utilization of the traffic information big data generated by the company's various mobility services, you will be entrusted with everything from hypothesis building to the execution of data-driven decision-making processes, including data collection, analysis, visualization, and automation, to strategic planning regarding the company's data in order to dramatically evolve the traffic around us.
This is a central role in predicting the future of the business by analyzing data to better understand the users and transporters of mobility services, optimize vehicle placement, travel routes, and dispatch logic, and properly handle uncertainty. The company is looking forward to receiving applications from those who are willing to take on the challenge of evolving transportation around us.

・Communicate with business units to formulate hypotheses and define analytical requirements
・Identify parameters with business impact, plan experiments, and collect data
・Understand the behavior of the service and establish data processing methods to eliminate bias from the data at hand
・Visualize and report the results of experiments and analysis
・Drive automation for efficient decision making with data

Required Skills and Experiences

【Required】・Experience in analytical work using regression, classification, and clustering methods ・Experience developing and operating ad hoc analysis, modeling, and data processing batches using SQL, Python, R, etc. ・Knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and computer science at the college level 【Preferred】・Experience with advanced SQL, including user-defined functions and performance tuning ・Practical experience implementing prediction, decision, and classification systems for static and time-series data using machine learning ・Practical experience with Bayesian modeling, statistical causal inference, and other methods for modeling uncertainty and causality ・Experience using BI tools such as Tableau and Looker ・Experience in analytical work for marketing, sales, business planning, and other non-systems departments 【Ideal Applicants】・Empathy with the evolution of the mobility field and its contribution to society, and the ability to commit to the service itself, not just the technology. ・Able to act on their own with a "broad perspective," a "long view," and "flexibility. ・Able to continuously strive to improve required skills ・Be able to communicate with others in a respectful manner
