Job Description

The company is looking for a specialist tech lead with strong technical expertise to join an elite team to bring new features to the cab app as quickly as possible.

As the company's cab app business steadily progresses and expands to more than 10 million downloads, the need for development is also increasing.

The development team is divided into several teams, including user application, cab on-board application, API server, external management screen, and payment system.

Onsite, each member is thinking and running on his or her own to promote development for business progress as well as improvements to increase operational and development efficiency, but the time required for release is gradually increasing, and it has become an important management issue for the entire development team to promote more efficient development than ever before.

Until now, the company has been hiring for each team as a separate position because of the different technical skills required for each team. However, they would like to seek the cooperation of a senior engineer with a wealth of experience for this position, which does not limit the technical area, assumed team, or role.

■Mission
As a specialist or tech lead, you will be responsible for delivering the company's new services to the world more quickly.

(Examples) *You will also be asked to suggest what needs to be done, not limited to those listed below.
・Improve upstream processes to speed in-house product evolution
 -Discussions with product managers and project managers on an equal footing
 -Suggestions for simplification, reduction, and alternative solutions for requirements that tend to become complex
 -Proposal of development order and schedule considering development efficiency
・Development that maximizes the strengths of individual specialists
 -Identify inefficient or difficult items that would be difficult for multiple members to work on, and create them all by yourself.
 -Planning and implementation of various in-house tools that greatly increase development efficiency and operational efficiency
・Activities to strengthen horizontal collaboration among engineering teams
 -Restructuring of the architecture to improve development efficiency across the entire range from microservices with mixed API server/batch server to smartphone apps.
 -Propose and implement support to expand each team member's product portfolio
 -Study sessions, assignment rules, etc.
・Activities to improve team development efficiency
 -Planning the scope and methods of automation of testing, etc., and support for the operation of automated systems
 -Support for creating and implementing guidelines for organizing and enhancing documentation of data specifications, API specifications, etc.
 -Reduction of engineering operation work through automation and efficiency improvement

Required Skills and Experiences

【Required】・Experience as Tech Lead for overall development from requirements coordination to release and maintenance in a web service-based project with a total size of 10+ person-months. Experience as a tech lead in the application, server, front-end, and other areas. ・5+ years of experience in your primary technical field (Android/iOS/backend (Golang/AWS/GCP/DB design/API design)/frontend (React)/data infrastructure, etc.) 【Preferred】・Experience in participating in a product development site with 10 or more engineers, proposing, persuading, and implementing methods and mechanisms to solve problems, and thereby creating significant improvements (to the extent recognized by the business sector) in the business and development site. 【Ideal Applicants】・Empathy with the evolution of the mobility field and its contribution to society, and able to commit not only to the technology but also to the service itself. ・Able to act on their own with a "broad perspective", "long view" and "flexibility". ・Stimulate each other to improve their skills ・Able to communicate with others in a respectful manner ・For full remote: Able to work independently while maintaining close communication with members from various areas inside and outside the company, even in a full remote environment.
