■Job Description
As an engineer leader for IoT-related business, you will be responsible for studying IoT equipment configuration, selecting and procuring equipment, managing outsourcing such as kitting and installation, etc., defining related software requirements, studying communication standards, etc.

You will be able to play an active role as an engineer leader in IoT business areas such as car sharing systems and digital signage systems.
In the area of car sharing systems, you will be involved in vehicle analysis work for developing firmware for in-vehicle devices to be installed in vehicles, collecting necessary data, setting up in-vehicle devices, and testing their operation, all while working on actual vehicles.
In areas related to car-sharing systems, we have recently been developing management systems for EV charging services.
In the area of digital signage systems, for the construction of an operation and management system for a large bus terminal, we proceed with the project by selecting and procuring various sensors, examining the linkage with the signage system, kitting, and on-site operation support, all while working with various types of equipment.

【Main Responsibilities】
＜Car sharing system＞
・Requirement definition, basic design, and design of system configuration
・Investigation of vehicle schematics and maintenance manuals
・Collection and analysis of vehicle data/signals using specialized tools, oscilloscopes, etc.
(There is also test jig creation and simple programming.)
・Installation of OBEs and software (firmware) testing on actual vehicles
・Creation of documents such as installation manuals, etc.
・Defect investigation (DB, log, equipment condition investigation)

＜Signage System＞
・Requirement definition, basic design, system configuration design
・Investigation of specifications of equipment such as signage
・Signage system testing
・Preparation of documents such as installation manuals
・Failure investigation (DB, log, equipment condition investigation)

■Working environment
Seven foreign engineers are working at the site.
In addition, two foreign engineers are scheduled to join the company in the near future!
We have two foreign nationals in charge of our company, so we recommend this position to those who want to work in a global environment!

■In-house language
Although foreign nationals are active in the company, all communication is conducted in Japanese.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required: Development Skills ・Experience in new system/service projects (not customization) ・Experience in consumer web system projects (B to B to C is also OK) ・Experience in development (experience in basic design) ・At least 5 years of project management experience ・Basic knowledge of engineering (electrical, electronic, computer, etc.) （Basic knowledge of engineering (electrical, electronic, computer, etc.) (reading circuit diagrams, Ohm's law supplement, composite resistance calculation, logic operations, etc.) ■Required skills: Soft skills ・Experience in project promotion involving multiple stakeholders ・Driving license (no problem to drive in Tokyo or long distance) ■Preferred ・Interested in IoT (especially vehicle and signage) ・Able to work in the field or interested in working in the field (especially in-vehicle work). ・Able to convert between binary, decimal, and hexadecimal numbers. ・Able to use a variety of tools and equipment. ・Those who have no problem to use special tools on PC (those who have no problem to operate PC). ・Experience or interest in programming in some language ・Basic knowledge of testers and oscilloscopes (for experienced users) ・Knowledge of networking (OSI's 7 layers) (for those with experience)
