■ Business Overview
Morpho, Inc. is an R&D-oriented company originating from the University of Tokyo, boasting advanced image processing technologies. With "Imaging AI" as its core technology, the company has achieved over 3.5 billion cumulative licenses, primarily through image stabilization and quality enhancement technologies for smartphones. The business is currently expanding into the automotive, AI-OCR, and smart city sectors. Morpho focuses on creating new visual experiences through its "Edge AI" technology, designed for high-speed and low-power consumption on-device.

■ Job Description
In the CTO's office, we are conducting research and development of the following technologies by applying state-of-the-art image processing technology and Deep Learning.
＜ Computational Photography ＞
Image stabilization, HDR, super resolution, panorama shooting, noise reduction, deblurring, frame interpolation
＜ Deep Learning ＞
Depth estimation, image classification, object detection, face recognition, OCR, appearance inspection, single image super-resolution

The mission is not project management or implementation, but to develop the core algorithms for all of Morpho's products. Basically, we deal with themes that can be put to practical use within one to two years. There are many projects that are carried out in cooperation with each business unit, and we are very close to our clients. We hold in-house study sessions once a week across the organization, focusing on image processing and machine learning.

■ Working environment
We have a department that develops algorithms for our own engines and the core parts of all Morpho products, and our organization is strong in in-house technological development.

■ In-house language
We use Japanese in the company.
If you are fluent in English or Chinese, you may be assigned to a client that requires English, Chinese, or other languages.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Minimum qualifications: Because of the rapid pace of technological innovation and the company's stance of adopting new methods and technologies flexibly, background doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you don't have any experience in Machine Learning or Image Processing. ‐Experience in research and development related to image processing, image recognition, or AI ‐Basic coding skills (C, C++, Python preferred) ‐Basic mathematical knowledge (linear algebra, calculus, statistics, etc.) ‐Self-directed attitude to learn things that are not specialized ‐Ability to identify challenges and find solutions

¥4,000,000 - ¥8,000,000
Monthly salary: ¥333,334 - ¥666,667 (divided into 12 installments, including flat-rate allowances)
*Overtime pay will be provided for any hours exceeding the fixed overtime limit.
