Our company provides a Home IoT service that allows users to control various home appliances and monitor environmental factors like indoor temperature and humidity, all from a smartphone or tablet, even while on the go. Specifically, we offer a range of proprietary products, such as "iRemocon" for appliance control, "Glamo Smart Lock" for key operations, and "iRemocon CT" for checking electricity consumption. These products are integrated into a single solution through the "iRemocon Smart Home" app.

Japan's first* proposal-based AI agent "Gramon." This IoT device integrates an intercom monitor, home IoT, HEMS monitor, security, and monitoring functions all in one unit.

■Job Description
You will be responsible for server design and development for existing services, such as our Home IoT services, as well as new services.

Our goal is to develop products that enhance the safety, security, and comfort of everyday living. Since all development is conducted in-house, engineers have the autonomy to make development decisions. We encourage specialists eager to leverage their technical expertise to create new services to apply.


■Detailed Responsibilities
The role includes comprehensive tasks such as detailed server design, construction, testing, maintenance and operation of systems, security management, performance optimization, and hardware integration.

The organization is divided into three sections: "Software Department," "Hardware Department," and "Service Operation (Maintenance & Testing) Department."
This position will be part of the "Software Department."
Details:
Software Department: 2 (Server Engineer / Full Stack), 4 (Project Managers and Assistants)
Hardware Department: 3 (Electronic Design, Firmware, Mechanical Design)
Service Operation (Maintenance & Testing): 1 (App Engineer), 1 (Testing)
There are other BPO engineers within the company as a whole.
The CEO doubles as the department head, leading project efforts.


■Work Environment
- Up to two days of telework per week
- Flexible work hours
- One of our foreign employees is from China


■Internal Language
Communication will be conducted in Japanese.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required: Development Skills ・Development experience using Java or Kotlin web frameworks ・Experience in Go language development using web frameworks or AWS Lambda ・Experience in MySQL development and operation ・Experience in development and operation of applications running on Linux ・Experience in building and operating applications on AWS using EC2 (Linux) ■Preferred ・Experience in building and operating with AWS ECS/EKS ・Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, etc.) ・Experience with AWS services such as Lambda/AppSync/Amplify/DynamoDB ・Experience in building and operating with IaC such as CDK/CloudFormation/Terraform
