In most cases, AI-related development projects are ultimately delivered as web systems that can be operated by users, and opportunities for web engineers are expanding rapidly.


■Job Description
＜Responsibilities＞
As a project manager (PM) and lead engineer, you will be assigned to a contracted development project with 2 to 5 members and a development period of 3 to 6 months, and you will be responsible for the following tasks
・Define requirements for deliverables
・Basic and detailed design
・Technology selection
・Project planning and progress management
・Implementation (100% in-house development)
・Reporting to clients (together with sales staff)

The sales representative in charge of the project will participate in each project as an account manager, acting as a bridge between the client and our development team to help the project proceed smoothly.
For those who do not have any experience, we will first have you participate in a project as a member, and eventually you will be entrusted as a PM and lead engineer, including member support!

＜Characteristics of pluszero's contracted business＞
Some people may have a negative image of contracted development, such as "no matter how hard I work, the salary doesn't increase" or "the burnout rate is high," but we operate our business with a clear distinction from the above situation for two reasons.
The first reason is that we are able to accept many high-difficulty x high-unit-price projects. We receive orders at relatively high unit prices for projects in fields that require a wide range of technologies and have few competitors due to their high degree of difficulty, such as web system development with AI engines for image recognition, OCR, and natural language processing, new development of products with complex functions, enhancement and data analysis using mathematical models, etc. The second reason is that our projects are high-risk.
The second reason is that we do not take on high-risk projects, or we eliminate risk in advance before starting development. When we receive orders for projects, our sales staff and CTO closely examine the man-hour estimates and risks of the project, and we only accept orders based on contracts that we believe are reasonable.
As a result, we have been able to keep the average overtime hours of our in-house engineers to a low level of 5 hours/month in the last fiscal year.

In general, PMs at most companies are mainly engaged in administrative tasks and rarely write code.
Therefore, our PMs are not only in charge of QCD management of the overall project, but also lead the project from the technical side by selecting and implementing technologies as lead engineers.
Through this work, PMs can acquire both management and programming skills, and we believe that they can increase their market value as a bridge between business and engineering.
