As part of the group's digital transformation (DX), we are expanding our team. We are hiring for a general position in the Information Systems Division at Kanazawa Murata. You will be involved in planning and managing new internal systems.


■ Job Description
You will be involved in the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of in-house standard manufacturing systems (MES).
Working closely with production teams, you will participate from the early stages of defining business requirements and planning system implementation, with a focus on business process reengineering (BPR) and standardization.

Main responsibilities:
・MES (Manufacturing Execution System) development:
Gathering requirements, collaborating with headquarters, writing specifications, designing, managing external vendors, system implementation, and server management.
・System operation and maintenance:
Long-term system maintenance, version updates, data management.

Note: 
・Depending on your start date, you may be assigned to other projects.
・Due to the active rotation among group companies, you may be seconded to other Murata Group companies, including those overseas, in a few years as part of your training and development.


■ IT Department Overview
Acts as a system hub for Murata Manufacturing, supporting development across locations such as Hokuriku and Sendai.
・Internal team: About 30 members
・External development partners: About 10 members

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required: Development Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience as a System Engineer (SE), including requirement definition, system development, and operations (Development language: Java, Database: Oracle) ■Preferred Skills – Development Experience of 3+ years in one or more of the following: ・Involvement in the full cycle from gathering user requirements to post-implementation service, not limited to development or maintenance only ・Experience in system development and operations within the manufacturing industry ・English proficiency sufficient to support system implementation at overseas factories (training provided) ■Preferred Skills – Language English communication skills ■Ideal Candidate Profile ・Has a strong interest in manufacturing ・Possesses good communication skills and enjoys interacting with people
