【Recruitment Background】
As the business grows, the company is faced with the challenges of improving the productivity of internal sales members, upgrading marketing activities using machine learning and other methods, and improving the UX of app users. Although they are taking a data science approach to these issues, they are looking for a new colleague to accelerate their efforts.

【Responsibilities】
Depending on your intentions, you may be assigned to work in one of the business, marketing, or product areas, or across the areas, as follows

<Business & Marketing>
You will be responsible for developing data products to improve the productivity of internal sales members, upgrading marketing activities using machine learning and other methods, and modeling the dynamism of TIMEY's business activities, while communicating with business unit members, marketing members, and other data job members. 

<Products>
In order to improve the UX for app users, you will enhance the search and recommendation system, maintain and improve the health of the platform, and conduct other R&D activities. You will be responsible for incorporating the results (forecasting results, etc.) into products while communicating with product development members and other members of the data profession.

In both the business, marketing, and product areas, you will be expected to perform the following specific duties.
Issue exploration and definition
Project formation
Roadmap development
Technical research and validation, including paper research
Specific analysis, modeling and engineering work
Demonstration experiments
KPI design
Design of effectiveness verification
Establishment and operation of monitoring and operation system
Hypothesis testing for improvement
Contribution to team operation improvement and team common development infrastructure

Data handled
・Access logs of app users, information on recruitment details
・Information related to matching
・Data related to advertising effectiveness, such as review and evaluation information and app installations
・Data related to inquiries
・Data on sales activity information
You will be dealing with the data listed above.

Required Skills and Experiences

【MUST】 Hard Skills ・3+ years of experience solving problems through data analysis in research or business ・Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning ・3+ years of experience extracting and processing data using languages such as SQL and Python ・Experience in cloud development (especially GCP or AWS) ・Experience with development using GitHub or git hosting services Soft Skills ・Empathy with the company's mission and socially responsible business ・Fit with the company's values ・Willing to provide input to understand the industry and customers ・Able to think independently and take initiative to solve problems ・Able to communicate smoothly with others and boldly involve them in the work process ・Able to communicate with others in a considerate manner, rather than being all about the logical. 【WANT】・Problem finding, problem solving, and logical thinking skills ・Experience in automation using CI/CD ・Experience in building and operating machine learning pipelines ・Experience in effectiveness testing and causal inference ・Experience in web development using programming languages
