■ Business Overview
This company was founded in 2014 by a former engineer from a major Japanese automotive parts manufacturer, together with a team of engineers. Since then, they have provided technical consulting and tool development services to top-tier automotive companies, particularly those connected to the founder’s former employer.


■ Job Description
You will be assigned to one of the following three departments, depending on your skills and career goals:

1. Design, Implementation, and Testing of Automotive ECU Embedded Software
Department: Engineering
Involved in software development for automotive ECUs and new services. Also responsible for technical support and commissioned development for services that include overseas license sales.

2. Setup and Customization of ECU-TEST Tool and Data Analysis
Department: Technologies
You will implement and support the use of ECU-TEST, an automotive testing tool developed by TraceTronic (Germany). As TraceTronic’s only official partner in Japan, we provide licenses and technical support. The tool is already widely used in the EU and the US, and is expected to be applied in areas like AI development and aircraft simulation testing in the future.

3. AI Consulting: Market Research, Advanced Technology Development, Sales Support, and Process Management
Department: New Business
Focusing on AI-related consulting, we support clients through market research, cutting-edge tech development, sales support, and process management.

Note: You may work across multiple departments depending on your career vision.
Future leadership roles as a Tech Lead or Project Manager are also possible.

Required Skills and Experiences

【 Required : Technical Skills 】 Applicants must have experience in all of the following. ・At least 1 year of experience in embedded control system development ・C, Python3, C++, C#, or more than 1 year of experience 【 Required : Language 】・JLPT N1 level or higher (Able to participate in meetings and create specifications/instructions in Japanese) 【 Preferred 】・Experience in management ・Experience in automotive development with knowledge of: └ Model-based development └ CAN/LIN communication └ Operation of HILS/SILS/MILS tools such as Simulink, ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, INCA, CANoe ・Experience in English communication [Note] Business-level English is not required at the time of joining. However, English communication skills will be essential for those aiming to become a Tech Lead or Project Manager. YF BLDG1-D, 3-9 Wakamatsu-cho, Kariya, Aichi, Japan
*If you are assigned to a project that involves work with specialized equipment or files that cannot be taken out of the office, you may be asked to work at the client's headquarters. (The nearest station is also Kariya Station, within walking distance from GAFS headquarters.)
Although this is a permanent position, it is different from so-called "outsourced development.
