Job Description

■ Mission of this position
This position is responsible for "vendor management of development projects" for the next generation financial systems business. Achieve system development with expected schedule and quality by properly managing external vendors.
Discuss business requirements with product managers directly under the representative and work with TechLead to formulate optimal technical requirements.
Challenging global financial networks - Lead the progress and quality control of external vendors by driving development projects that include connectivity with Swift, major banks, and other financial institutions.


■ The blockchain market and our challenges
It is expected that all assets will become digital assets in the future, especially assets with underlying value such as stocks, bonds, derivatives, and real estate, which are called Real World Assets (RWA).

The market capitalization of stable coins, which will become the mainstream for digital transactions in the future, is already over 25 trillion yen as of June 2024, and there are reports that the market will become over 400 trillion yen by 2028 through their utilization in the real economy.

Amidst these signs of major changes in the financial system, on September 5, 2024, we will launch a cross-border remittance infrastructure project in collaboration with Swift, an international organization, and major banks, aiming to provide "fast, cheap, and convenient" international remittances using stablecoin.

Since our founding in 2018, we have continued R&amp;D on technology and business opportunities with the goal of creating a "de facto infrastructure" as a "global x deep tech" "from Japan". The accumulation of this technology is the current opportunity. Japan's legal system is ahead of the rest of the world, and this is an excellent opportunity for us to take initiatives with a global advantage. However, because it is a large market, global competition is expected to intensify in the future.

We are currently hiring rapidly, mainly for the product development team, in order to create the next generation of global financial systems by taking advantage of the signs of major changes in the financial system, the advantage of Japanese legislation, and the technological expertise we have cultivated.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required Any of the following: ・Project management for core banking systems at a system integrator (particularly involving collaboration with external vendors) ・Experience as a project leader or manager at a system integrator, followed by product management for B2B FinTech services at an internet company ・All of the following: ・Experience in managing mid- to large-scale vendors (including contract negotiation, progress tracking, and quality control) ・Experience in project or product management for launching a new product or project ・Interest in blockchain technology (hands-on experience not required) ■Ideal Applicants ・Experience as a software engineer ・Academic background in computer science or a related field ・Experience in developing products using blockchain technology ・Experience in development direction, with the ability to bridge both technical and business aspects by working closely with engineers and product managers ・Strong communication skills, including negotiation and coordination with external vendors, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders ・Ability to build consensus and collaborate with stakeholders across diverse areas of expertise (engineers, product managers, executives, financial institutions, etc.) ・Systematic knowledge of project management (e.g., PMBOK, CCPM, TOC, Agile development) ・Knowledge and experience in product management (e.g., design thinking, in-depth user interviews, value proposition design)
