Job Description

■ Job Overview
Join the development team for Sharefull Shift (a shift management SaaS) and work on multi-platform service development, operational infrastructure, and internal tools to support customer success, utilizing a wide range of technologies.

■ Mission Expectations
At Sharefull Shift, we continuously improve our product by analyzing usage data, gathering user feedback, and discussing hypotheses with the business team to build and verify Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) through iterative cycles.

We apply eXtreme Programming (XP) as our development approach, incorporating pair programming and test-driven development as standard practices. You will work with a different pair each day and be involved in all product development tasks. For unfamiliar platforms, you will learn through hands-on pair programming.

■ Main Responsibilities
・Develop single-page applications using the Angular framework
・Develop APIs using AWS Lambda
・Develop native applications for iOS and Android
・Develop internal management tools
・Write unit and end-to-end (e2e) tests

■ About Sharefull Shift
・A SaaS-based shift management system for service industry companies, covering shift request collection, shift creation, and multi-store help coordination in an all-in-one platform.
・As of March 2025, it has been adopted by approximately 760 companies and is used by around 177,000 people, including major convenience store chains.

■ Position Highlights
・Fully remote and fully flexible work environment with only one company-wide gathering every six months, allowing for a lifestyle-friendly work style.
・A global engineering team of 7 members, including 5 foreign engineers, with English as the primary language.
・Modern development practices based on eXtreme Programming, including pair programming and TDD, help you grow into a full-stack engineer.
・You can dedicate part of your working hours to self-directed learning, technical exploration, or personal development, supported by a company culture that encourages continuous skill growth.
・Work closely with end-users and receive direct feedback, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to the product.

■ Evaluation System
・Performance evaluations are conducted twice a year (April and October) to determine salary increases, promotions, and bonuses (bonuses are paid in June and December).
・We value both results and process. Instead of long-term goals, we focus on continuous reflection and bottom-up goal setting to adapt to rapid market and business changes.

Required Skills and Experiences

■ Must-Have Qualifications ・Willingness to work in a pair programming environment (All development is done in pairs. Prior experience is not required, but a proactive attitude is essential.) ・Business-level English communication skills (English is the primary language used within the team) ・Currently residing in Japan ・At least 3 years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development (as a guideline) ・Solid knowledge and skills in computer science ■ Nice-to-Have Qualifications ・Experience with any of the technologies listed in the job responsibilities ・Conversational-level Japanese ■ Ideal Candidate Profile ・Shares our vision of "creating a future where staff can thrive through effective shift management" ・Able to think from the user’s perspective and write code that addresses their true needs ・Communicates effectively and collaborates smoothly with team members

■ Work Location
・Anywhere in Japan, as long as it does not interfere with work operations (fully remote within Japan is allowed)
・Head Office: Aoyama Office (address provided separately)
・Access: 5-minute walk from Aoyama-itchome Station (Tokyo Metro) / 5-minute walk from Nogizaka Station (Tokyo Metro)

■ Annual Salary Range
・Salary will be determined based on experience and skills

■ Working Hours
・Monthly flex-time system with no core hours
・Standard working hours: 10:00–19:00 (8 hours work, 1 hour break)
