Field service operations for medical devices and other equipment (including installation, maintenance, and repair)

This position involves assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing of various machines and devices.
Examples of work styles include:
・Mobile Service: Visiting clients’ sites for on-site service
・On-site Maintenance: Stationed at factories for regular maintenance
・Domestic and International Dispatch: Installing large equipment at sites in Japan or abroad

Assignments are determined based on each individual’s experience, skills, and preferences.

■ Assignment Flow (in case of handling X-ray diagnostic imaging equipment)
● Step 1: Initial Training
New members will first shadow experienced colleagues at the work site. Skills are developed through hands-on practice using product manuals under direct guidance. Some clients may also offer their own technical training programs.
Since visits are made to medical institutions, training will also cover hygiene protocols, entry/exit procedures, and proper documentation such as service reports.

● Step 2: Typical Daily Tasks (Post-Training)
Once working independently, engineers are typically in charge of a designated area, visiting 2–3 medical institutions per day by company vehicle for scheduled inspections.
Unexpected repair requests during the day are handled in coordination with the client’s team.
Time outside of visits is used for appointment scheduling, report writing, and preparing repair estimates.
Support from senior members remains available by phone or in person, even after starting independent work.

● Step 3: Useful Experience
Experience in maintaining production machinery or plant equipment is beneficial. Communication skills developed through coordination with on-site operators and equipment vendors can also be leveraged for contract renewals and end-user support.
