Job Description

■Overview
You will be responsible for the development of sensing systems (SLAM systems) and navigation systems used in autonomous drones. You will perform end-to-end development, from research to product development, which includes identifying areas for improvement in the autonomous drone system currently in development and formulating development schedules. In addition to development, you will also conduct technical research.

Specifically:
Collaborating with the Product Manager on product review and requirements definition.
Designing the autonomous drone system and verifying its technology.
Developing sensing systems that use multiple sensors, including sensor fusion.
Researching and verifying new sensing algorithms.
Conducting tests on actual drones and performing a proof of concept (PoC) in simulated and real-world environments.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required Experience developing sensing systems using cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors Experience developing systems utilizing position and velocity measurement algorithms such as SLAM and Visual/LiDAR Odometry Experience with robotics technologies integrating hardware and software, such as robots and autonomous driving Basic mathematical knowledge including linear algebra, calculus, and statistics ■Preferred Experience using robotics frameworks such as ROS Experience performing kernel rebuilds Experience developing hard real-time systems Experience utilizing single-board computers like Jetson in practical applications Development experience at venture companies or startups Experience formulating hypotheses about new technologies and conducting verification and validation Experience refining known theories and implementing mathematical theories in actual hardware

Working Condition

<Holidays / Vacations>
・Annual holidays: 125 days
・Holiday/vacation type：Two days off per week (Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays)
・Annual paid leave: 10 days (the minimum number of days is the number of days granted after six months of employment)
・Summer vacation, year-end and New Year vacations, congratulation or condolence leave
