Job Description

The product launched in 2022 enables the use of drawing data, which is said to be the most important data in the manufacturing industry, as an information asset by structuring it with various technologies, including machine learning, and linking it with a variety of information. The product is already being used by major domestic manufacturers and processing companies, and from 2023 by customers overseas (in the U.S., Thailand, and Vietnam).

In the future, we aim to realize overall optimization that transcends divisions and companies by using technology to reproduce and consolidate manufacturing knowledge beyond drawings. We also aim to further accelerate our global expansion while providing great value to our overseas customers, and we need a product manager who can communicate with internal and external parties and identify US and other region-specific needs.

In terms of development, there are a number of themes we would like to address, such as enhancing the functionality as a data platform, developing multiple new applications that run on the platform, and strengthening the infrastructure to withstand the dramatically increasing number of users and volume of data. Along with these, we are also working on growing our development organization with non-Japanese speaking engineers. We need a product manager who can promote product development in English with engineers from our Vietnamese and Japanese subsidiaries.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for project management of the manufacturing AI data platform or related products. After deciding on improvement measures and new features, this position will lead the project from promotion to completion, utilizing a wide range of professional perspectives in business, operations, and development. The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible and take the necessary actions to ensure success, rather than just managing the project.

Understand stakeholder expectations and make proposals and adjustments from an overall business perspective
Implementing and establishing project management processes
Overall project planning and facilitation
Proactive change management
Coaching of project management skills to product managers/engineers, etc.

Projects range in scale from 3 months to less than a year in duration, with several to several dozen developers (including non-Japanese speaking members) involved.
In addition, you will also lead the PjM organization study for multi-product development. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and promoting the ideal PjM organization strategy to accelerate product development by catching up with our strategy and combining it with your past experience and knowledge.
