Under these circumstances, the Group established a new subsidiary on April 11, 2023 to further promote implementation consulting, product provision, and research and development related to AI technology.

The new subsidiary was established in April 2023 as a group company of a publicly listed company, aiming to dramatically increase the potential of people working with AI technology. We are promoting research and development in Japan and abroad using cutting-edge AI technology.

[Recruitment Background
The new subsidiary company's top priority is to ensure stable operation and scalability of its rapidly growing AI SaaS product. In particular, AI services that utilize large-scale language models require a high-load and complex infrastructure environment, and there is an urgent need to strengthen the efficient design and operation system of the cloud infrastructure centered on Kubernetes. This calls for a senior engineer with expertise in Kubernetes in order to both improve the reliability of the product and the productivity of the development team.

The expected role of this position is as follows.
As the technical leader of the new subsidiary's cloud infrastructure, this position will lead the design, construction, and operation of a large-scale Kubernetes cluster, helping to improve the reliability of the product by enhancing stability, scalability, and security, while dealing with the high load environment unique to AI services. and security, while coping with the high load environment unique to AI services.
You will also work closely with the SRE team to automate the CI/CD pipeline and improve operational efficiency, thereby helping to improve the productivity of the development team. The team consists of approximately 65 people in the development organization.

Solution development for clients
In-house AI SaaS development
Common infrastructure development (Infra / Data / AI R&amp;D)

Business Contents
Design, build, operate, and monitor Kubernetes clusters
Specific implementation of containerized AI service deployment strategy
Infrastructure construction and management work in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure, etc.)
Management and automation of Kubernetes resources using Helm charts and Operator
Practical support for security enhancements such as network policy and RBAC settings
Design and improvement of CI/CD pipeline and operational support for GitOps
Troubleshooting and performance tuning in case of outages
Technical documentation and promotion of knowledge sharing within the team

Development environment
Language: Python (Framework), TypeScript / React / Next.js (Front-end)
Infrastructure: GCP (containers / K8s), Docker
Tools: Slack, Confluence, Linear, Google Workspace, GitHub, etc.
Working environment: Mac (Apple silicon), dual monitor support

Required Skills and Experiences

【Required】 Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. 3+ years of experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale Kubernetes clusters. Experience in system design, building, and operation in a Linux environment. Deep knowledge and practical experience with container technologies. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform. Experience using CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Experience using system monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.). Experience with troubleshooting and incident response. Business-level English proficiency. 【Preferred】 Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certification. Database management experience with PostgreSQL or similar. Experience developing automation tools or Operators using Go or Python. Understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture. Experience implementing and operating monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with security audits and vulnerability response. Experience operating large-scale distributed systems. Experience developing automation scripts. Experience contributing to open-source projects. Business-level Japanese proficiency.
