【Recruitment Background】
The company is a startup founded in April 2023 with the mission of dramatically enhancing the potential of working people through AI technology. Their core business is developing a B2B SaaS that leverages Generative AI, and since its launch, the service has been growing rapidly with strong support from many clients.

To accelerate this growth even further, they are looking for a Design Manager who can lead the product's design strategy and maximize its value from a UI/UX perspective. In this position, you'll be expected to align the overall product strategy with the design, define and discuss the ideal state of the UI/UX, and proactively formulate and drive the design strategy. They are looking for someone who can help build the product strategy from the ground up by engaging in hands-on design and leading the product direction from a high-level perspective.

【Responsibilities】
You will lead the entire design strategy, from formulation to execution, for applications that dramatically boost operational efficiency and productivity using generative AI technology.

・Formulating and driving a design strategy based on the product strategy.
・Creating prototypes based on the Product Requirements Document (PRD).
・Ensuring consistent design across the entire application and making necessary adjustments.
・Proposing and executing UI/UX improvements from an expert's perspective.
・Formulating UI/UX designs that align with the product's direction.
・Conducting UI reviews and proposing improvements.
・Collaborating with PdMs and engineers to discuss design and technical constraints, and creating designs based on the product strategy.
・Driving user pain point research, hypothesis testing, and problem-solving.
・Mentoring and guiding design team members.

【Team Structure】
The development organization consists of approximately 65 members, including engineers and Product Managers. You will be assigned to the Product Management organization, which is composed of two teams:
・In-House AI SaaS Product Managers: This team focuses on expanding product features and the customer base for products that have already achieved Product-Market Fit (PMF).
・AI Agent PMF: This team is responsible for strategy and execution to help a suite of innovative AI agents achieve PMF.

Required Skills and Experiences

【Required】 Practical experience in product design as a UI/UX designer (5+ years) Experience collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional teams (engineers, PdMs, PjMs, etc.) and stakeholders to build services Experience driving product development by demonstrating strong leadership and logical communication skills Data-driven decision-making skills Ability to deeply understand product strategy from a design perspective and think strategically Mindset capable of adapting to the fast pace and change inherent in startup environments Japanese (Fluent): Capable of conducting high-context discussions about product development in Japanese without misunderstanding 【Preferred】 Design experience with web/mobile applications used by a significant user base Over 1 year of experience using Figma (proficient in features like Auto Layout and Variables) Experience creating design libraries Experience collaborating with engineers to build design systems Experience creating PRDs for market impact and product scale Ability to stay updated on the latest AI technology trends Experience and perspective regarding product growth Experience leading design organizations and mentoring/coaching members (people management experience)

Working Condition

・Book Purchase Subsidy: There is a program that subsidizes book purchases up to ¥60,000 annually. You can freely purchase books within this limit, and many engineers take advantage of it to buy technical books every month.
