Job Description

The company is recruiting a UX Designer for new business development in collaboration with the company itself or its group entities. The goal is to develop new services required by local residents, visitors, and related businesses by investigating the essential theme of "mobility" across various timeframes, sometimes using prototypes for experimentation. The aim is for the new business to create value for both users and the business.
The role is divided into three main areas:

1. Experience Design and UX Strategy
The scope of work is broad, spanning research, concept review, detailed product planning, requirements definition, design development, and operation design. You are expected to use a user-centered approach as a foundation, working with flexibility and persistence to drive the project forward toward a launch that may be several years away.

2. Product Strategy and Value Validation
In this area, consideration from a business perspective—whether the service is worthwhile for a for-profit organization to pursue—is as important as its value to the user. You will be required to work with internal and external stakeholders to determine "what to do" and "what not to do". This is achieved by incrementally reducing service uncertainty through activities such as setting MVPs (Minimum Viable Products), formulating validation plans, and hypothesizing knockout factors.

【Specific Responsibilities】
・UX Concept and Experience Design: Developing UX concepts and experience designs based on research into urban development plans, EV charging infrastructure, and related business concepts.
・Service and Business Planning: Planning and designing services and business ventures that integrate both the user and business perspectives.
・Design Project Management: Designing and driving design projects for collaboration with various stakeholders, including supporting decision-making for executives and Product Owners
・Pilot Project Design: Planning and designing, and executing Proof of Concept (PoC) studies based on business concepts.
・Digital Product Lifecycle: General planning, design development, and growth management for digital products.

2. 【UI Design】
　- Proposing concepts and creating initial designs.
　- Designing for production (understanding specifications and creating screens using a design system).
　- Improving existing designs.
・Prototyping:
　- Creating prototypes to embody and validate user experience.
・Communication:
　- Coordinating specifications and designs with engineers, Project Managers (PM), and Product Owners (PO), and supporting implementation.
　- Sharing and presenting design intentions.
・Team Development: Sharing knowledge with the team and supporting the growth of junior members.
・Global Collaboration: Coordinating with the global design team.

Required Skills and Experiences

【UX】・At least 3 years of UX experience in digital services or products that straddle the digital and physical worlds. ・Experience in understanding and practicing the characteristics of various design and development methods (design thinking, design sprint, agile development, etc.) ・Experience in fieldwork to gather information necessary for practical work through personal experience and testimonials from others ・Japanese: N1 level 【UI】・Experience in UI design (5 years or more) 　-Design experience in digital product development, such as smartphone applications and web applications 　-Experience in design presentation and decision support 　-Experience collaborating with engineers, PMs, POs, and other professionals ・Japanese: N1 level 【Preferred】・Experience in designing and designing for digital products such as apps, web apps, etc. ・Experience in project design and process design using UIUX design and service design methodologies ・Experience in consensus building and decision-making support as a product owner or PdM ・Experience in workshop design and facilitation for ideas ・Experience in both sides of business companies and client support (contracted development, consulting, etc.) ・Experience in industries close to the mobility field, such as retail, distribution, logistics, etc. ・Other experience in a specific field that you have pursued and been passionate about

Standard hours : 8:45 - 17:45 (flextime system and telework system are available)
Core time : 12:45 - 15:15

Bonus Twice a Year/Bonus Twice a Year
Salary: To be determined upon interview
Allowance: Position allowance, family allowance, commuting allowance, overtime allowance, etc.
Bonus: Twice a year (July and December)
Salary increase: Once a year (based on company performance)
Estimated annual salary includes overtime and 18 hours per month.

Annual salary of over 9.9 million yen is for managers and supervisors.
Up to 8.5 million yen, room level management
Up to 7.4 million manages group level
Leads a unit up to 6.3 million
