■Business Overview
We are a digital twin solutions startup promoting DX (Digital Transformation) in the real estate and construction industries. Our proprietary 3D communication platform, "ROOV," has secured over a 40% market share in the domestic newly built condominium market (ranking No. 1 in industry adoption). We are currently expanding our business operations both domestically and internationally.


■Background of Recruitment
Along with the sales growth of our core business, the 3D communication platform "ROOV," multiple new projects are underway simultaneously, including the development of a new CX platform through co-creation with major clients. In this phase of business expansion and rapid growth, we are looking for core members who will lead the technical evolution of our products and share the responsibility of expanding our organization.


■Mission of the Backend Engineer (3D / Digital Twin)
The mission of the Backend Engineer (3D / Digital Twin) is to address technical challenges unique to 3D data from a backend perspective, supporting the overall product experience and quality.

・Main Mission
 Design, development, and operation of backend systems in the 3D domain, such as "3D data conversion pipelines" and "asset delivery infrastructure." Concurrently, construction of general Web backend components, including API and database design, as well as infrastructure configuration.

・Future Expectations 
Adapting to data structure and pipeline design changes driven by the diversification of digital twin use cases. In the future, assuming a role responsible for end-to-end design and development, from the backend to the client side.


■Job Description
This role is to support the growth of the product from the structure by tackling technical issues specific to 3D data, based on 3D data know-how and back-end design capabilities.

◆Design and improvement of 3D data pipeline
・3D data is an important area that determines the quality of the experience at Styleport. 
・This role involves handling various 3D data formats, asset conversion processes such as texture compression and mesh optimization, and designing efficient storage and distribution of large binary data, as well as other back-end issues unique to the 3D domain. 
・While utilizing current assets, we will review and redesign the structure as necessary, aiming for a foundation that can be maintained and expanded over the long term.

◆Web backend design and construction
・We are responsible for the basic design and construction of the web backend, including API design, database design, and infrastructure configuration. 
・The emphasis is on being able to explain why the configuration is adopted, rather than simply building something that works.
・The design intent will be organized using documents and diagrams, and the team will build the infrastructure while reaching a consensus.

◆Design based on use cases
・Back-end design should be based on how data will be used on the front end. 
・For example, there are many situations in which back-end decisions directly affect the front-end experience, such as selecting the format of assets to be delivered to a 3D viewer or designing API responses in consideration of client load performance. 
・We expect you to understand the front-end usage scenarios and be able to make decisions from both perspectives in data flow design and API design.


■Development Environment
We have our own engine, and since everything is done in-house, we have a fast-paced environment.
Our team is constantly reviewing our technology stack, revising and taking on new challenges.

■Development Environment Maintenance and Organization
In order to realize a more enjoyable development experience, we have implemented the following measures.

- Structured documentation, from daily meetings to product specifications, was maintained and recommended.
- Encouraged asynchronous communication where asynchronous is sufficient. Centralize activities in Slack to prevent information from being scattered.
- Maintain a high frequency deployment environment using Amplify, GitHub Actions, etc., and a deployment system linked to SlackBot.
- Review, migration, and refactoring of libraries and stacks used
- Ticket-based task management using Wrike
- PR and code review using GitHub, and maintenance of CI environment

Required Skills and Experiences
