[Job Overview]
Our legal department supports domestic and international business activities, with a focus on corporate legal affairs. Following our inclusion in the Motherson Yachiyo Group, business opportunities with our parent company and global manufacturers have increased, and we are recruiting a team member for this position to support business growth from a legal perspective.

[Key Responsibilities]
・Preparation, review, and negotiation support for various contracts
・Consultation handling on legal issues from internal departments
・Planning and operation of compliance activities
・Maintenance and improvement of internal and group control as well as governance structures
・Establishment and revision of internal regulations
・Legal affairs related to general meetings of shareholders and board of directors meetings
・Handling of litigation and dispute cases, as well as collaboration with external attorneys
・Internal investigations regarding misconduct and legal violations
・Legal support involving overseas group companies and international business partners
・Review, drafting, and negotiation support for English contracts

[Product Development Flow]
・Product Design Department: Completed through repeating product planning -> specification review -> design -> test evaluation.
・Production Engineering Department: Completed through repeating specification review from product drawings for equipment, molds, processes, etc. -> design -> processing/manufacturing of jigs, molds, etc. -> test evaluation.
The broad scope of handling everything in-house, from development to production technology development/manufacturing and product manufacturing, is realized precisely because of Yachiyo's technical expertise!

Required Skills and Experiences

[Mandatory Requirements: Development Skills] ・Graduation from a university faculty of law or equivalent legal knowledge ・5 years or more of practical experience in corporate legal affairs ・Experience in contract review and legal consultation response ・Ability to perform duties in English (experience in English contract review and overseas email correspondence) [Preferred Requirements] ・Legal affairs experience in the manufacturing industry ・Overseas legal affairs experience ・Experience in M&A, business alliances, and intellectual property matters ・TOEIC score of 750 or higher

[Expected Annual Salary]

Moving forward, the company is focusing on Asia, where expansion of the automotive industry is expected, particularly India, to expand operations.
・Education System and Qualification Allowance Details: Systems are in place to acquire skills by level, such as new employee training, new instructor/leader/manager training, quality control education, and technical skill education. Self-development support systems are also extensive, including guidance on various qualification acquisition courses, correspondence courses, and incentives.

*Annual total: 121 days
Complete 2 days off per week (Saturdays and Sundays) / Paid leave (10 days granted after 6 months of employment / Maximum granted: 20 days / Scheduled to be granted after 3 months of employment) / Golden Week / Summer holidays / Year-end and New Year holidays / Special leave (Condolence leave, etc.)
