Job Description

We are developing and operating multiple in-house SaaS products and are strengthening our QA system to continuously improve the quality of our products.

In this position, you will be responsible for team management, planning and promotion of quality strategies as a manager of the QA team that leads quality assurance for multiple products centered on our flagship product.

The position will be responsible for team management and quality strategy planning and promotion.
- Management of QA team members (goal setting, evaluation, training, 1-on-1, etc.)
- Develop and promote QA strategy and roadmap
- Design and improve quality control processes and promote testing efficiency through the SDLC
- Develop and promote test automation strategy and execution
- Collaborate with stakeholders including development and SRE to share quality issues and improve quality throughout the organization
- Recruitment activities for QA team (recruitment planning, interviewing, onboarding)
- Budget and resource management

Organizational Structure
You will be assigned to the JPN-QA team in the Innovation &amp; Engineering Management Division.
IND-QA team is located in India, and will work in collaboration with managers in other locations.

Required Skills and Experiences

Required Skills - Experience in team management (goal setting, evaluation, training, etc.): 3 years or more - Experience in web-based test planning, design, and implementation: 5+ years - Knowledge and experience in software quality control - Business level or above Japanese language skills - Able to use English on the job and have a strong willingness to learn English after joining the company (regardless of current level) Welcome Skills - Experience in launching or expanding a QA team - Experience in implementing and promoting test automation - Experience in test automation using test frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc. - Experience integrating and operating tests into a CI/CD environment - Experience in web application development (back-end or front-end) - Management experience in a startup or agile environment - Experience working with global teams with different time zones and cultures - Business level English proficiency The right person for the job - Strong commitment to quality assurance and the ability to foster a culture of quality throughout the organization. - Ability to work smoothly with members from different cultures and backgrounds - Able to develop strategies and lead a team from a bird's eye viewpoint. - Able to support the growth of team members and maximize team performance - Able to find a way out of difficult situations on their own - Able to communicate smoothly with management and other departments. - Able to promote projects by involving others
